VJAS PROGRAM FOR MEETING 2005

Please note that all students must be chaperoned by their registered sponsors at all times. VJAS assumes no liability for those students and sponsors that do not adhere to this policy. Registration Forms and Information

If a student's paper is not listed, it was not accepted. The reason(s) for this will be returned with the paper in the "paper return room" at the meeting. Please do not call for reasons at this time.
If you will not be at the meeting, make arrangements with another school to retrieve these for you. Some awards will be voided and not given if you are not present to accept. All authors of a "multiple author paper" must be pesent and participate in the presentation of their paper

Virginia Environmental Endowment Award (VEE)
Only single author papers are eligible

Both Junior and Senior members of the Academy are required to submit their presentations electronically for publication. To meet this requirement, please:

1. Bring a disk containing the text of your paper (not your powerpoint presentation) with you to the meeting; give the disk to your section chair when you present your talk. The file must be in one of the following formats: WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, RTF, or DOS TEXT. DO not use ZIP files. If is so large you have to Zip it, you have not followed directions.

2. All papers must have an abstract.

3. Do not include embedded files or graphics with your text (no Excel graphs, no pictures or images).

4. No Mac disks, only PC compatible, no Microsoft Works files.

5. Label you disk with your NAME, & SECTION in which you presented.

**PowerPoint Tips**

SCHOOL SPONSORS ONLY--
A copy of the Proceedings is supplied to each participating school and First place winner. A CD will be available. Because of the vote by the Junior Academy membership at the 2002 meeting, a hard copy is no longer available.
