FIELD TRIP TO THE PIEDMONT PHYSIOGRAPHIC PROVINCE OF VIRGINIA

A one-day, one-credit field trip to Goochland, Louisa, and Henrico counties, Virginia, to study the general geology, the economic geology, the structural geology, the physiography, and the environmental geology of the area. Course completion requires paper and take-home test. Course is offered in the Fall Semester only and is conducted on the first Saturday of November in odd-numbered years. GOL 105 (or equivalent) is a prerequisite and permission of the instructor is required.
