FIELD TRIP TO THE COASTAL PLAIN PHYSIOGRAPHIC PROVINCE OF VIRGINIA

A one-day, one-credit field trip to Charles City, James City, York, Surry, and Chesterfield counties, Virginia, to study the general geology, the paleontology, the physiography, and the environmental geology of the area. Course completion requires paper and take-home test. Course is offered in the Spring Semester only and is conducted on the third Saturday of April in odd-numbered years. GOL 105 (or equivalent) is a prerequisite and permission of the instructor is required.
