Collect, organize and store records, awards, paraphernalia. Secure institutional repository and services of an official Archivist, assisting such person in collecting materials.

Select recipients of Ivey F. Lewis Distinguished Service Award, any special awards and submit to Council nominations for Fellows.

Prepare proposed changes in Constitution and Bylaws as directed by Council and present to the membership. Update charter as necessary. Provide Parliamentarian for Council meetings and Conference.

Provide scientific and technical advice as requested by state government. Maintain inventory of expertise of members willing to assist state government. Collect, evaluate, and disseminate information of public interest for benefit of state government.

Promote science education. Disseminate information on topics of current interest. Assist State Department of Education with appropriate conferences.
